Who We Are

TheVanishingPoint Art Contest

The Vanishing Point is a global art competition created to inspire young artists to combine their creativity with a passion for animal conservation. Our mission is to empower students to explore the beauty, complexity, and challenges of the animal world through art. By providing a platform for artistic expression, we aim to foster a sense of advocacy and responsibility, encouraging participants to become voices for animals and the environment. Our contests unite education, creativity, and action, celebrating the vital role art plays in inspiring meaningful change.

Why We Are
Doing This

At The Vanishing Point, we recognize the critical role animals play in our ecosystems and daily lives. Through our competitions—focused on endangered species, domestic animals, and extinct species—we aim to cultivate a deeper understanding of animal health, well-being, and conservation. By inviting young artists to reflect on these topics, we encourage them to learn about history, biology, and the essential relationship between humans and animals. Our goal is to inspire empathy, educate future generations, and promote positive actions that ensure a better world for all creatures, past and present.

"When I researched the saola for this contest, I learned it’s one of the rarest animals on Earth, living in the forests of Vietnam and Laos. It’s nicknamed the “Asian unicorn” because it’s so hard to find, and scientists didn’t even know it existed until 1992! I also discovered how deforestation and hunting are endangering it. This contest made me realize how many animals need our help, and it inspired me to learn more about conservation. Drawing the saola felt like I was giving it a voice."
